It was a nice family holiday for us at Treganna. Breakfast buffet was ok, the green spaces inside the estate excellent. Our apartment was clean, unfortunately no one showed up from house keeping in the first 4 days. I was expecting more frequent cleaning when I am staying 7 nights in a hotel. Location wise it has easy access inside the estate to walk down the beach. There are many excellent restaurants around at St ives. It was a peaceful nice and clean hotel. Thank you

The hotel is located in a very good place near the Saint Ives railway station overlooking the Bay Area which is very scenic. It is maintained very beautifully and has a grand garden where lots of weddings take place, but the hotel itself is old, with rooms not updated to modern standards. If you are a family of four, you have to stay in the same room with no partitions for your kids. They will be on the sofa bed just in front of your bed. There are leisure facilities such as a badminton court, a swimming pool, etc., but surprisingly, they charge for a racket to play badminton. The restaurants are good. There is a bar which has a good number of drinks and they also sell food. The breakfast is good and the rest of the things are all right.

It's a really nice report to stay at, with indoor and outdoor pools easily accessible on premise. I was staying at a lodge on the grounds and wifi doesn't work. Reported it a couple of times to reception but nothing happened. Cleaning service in the lodges was non existent.. my bins were full after first 3 days. Had to request toilet paper and fresh towels continuously. Really I didn't mind asking for stuff, the main reason for a lower rating is because no wifi!

Amazing amenities and very walkable to St. Ives main town area. Easier to walk than to drive because parking could be a nightmare to manage. The staff was friendly. Good sized family room. Coffee and biscuits in room, ironing board too. Strange sound from the pipes when showering! The hotel has a warm indoor pool that was deep enough to swim but not so deep you worried about your kids. Staff are friendly. Hotel was pretty clean. Breakfast was good.

We enjoyed our staff in St Ives but aspects of Treganna left us disappointed. Our room with a sea view was excellent but the bathroom needed attention. Particularly disappointing was the quality of the breakfast and evening meals. Fresh fruit on offer for breakfast consisted only of melon slices, the remainder of fruit being tinned cocktail and peaches. The hot food was swimming in grease. Evening meals in the Godrevy restaurant were very disappointing. We had one nice meal the day we arrived. However on one evening we waited over an hour for our food. On a couple of occasions the meal was overcooked and almost burnt. The Sunday Roast was inedible with roast potatoes as hard as rocks, rubbery vegetables and stringy meat. The grounds are lovely and the location overlooking St Ives is wonderful. We would visit again but make arrangements to have our meals elsewhere.

Perfect break. We love tregenna and have been going for 20 years. Staff are great, hotel and grounds are amazing and the pool is great fun with the kids (although I miss the sauna). I always enjoy eating a great vegan breakfast in the room we got married in. Nice walk to the best beach in town through the woodland walk. Hope to come again next Easter.
