“We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

“The setting in such a quiet rural location but only minutes from Wadebridge and the cottage suited us perfectly for our purpose for being in the area. We had some queries about the property before arrival and found Sykes support lacking but the house keeper for the cottage was really helpful and was able to help us on 2 occasions with instant replies. “This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again.”

“The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return.”
