We dined in the evening and breakfasted the following morning. The food was good and service efficient, friendly and courteous. Our room was warm and clean and the bed very comfortable. What more do you need from a hotel? We will definitely stay should we go back to the area.”

“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. “Clean room, friendly staff, amazing food and facilities ”

“Started off badly with the room we were issued having a drainage issue causing a bad smell in the room. We spoke to staff through Expedia who offered us a different room. The staff were helpful and made the change in rooms easy and after the bad start everything after was good. Nice quiet place, rooms are nice to look at and clean ”
