Everyone that worked the front desk (day and night) where so gracious with assisting and guiding us through our stay. Easy to request room service, helpful when needed assistance with laundry room services, and efficient when completing requests for AC unit maintenance (they replaced the whole thing and compensated with a discount on a couple nights). Location is perfect for seasonal event work with everything you need within a 5-15min radius.

Property and rooms were clean. Basic rooms, perfect for a quick overnight. The back entrance door, had glass broken and taped to hold it. The microwave in the room needs replaced, it was burning food and dirty.

Our room was clean but very basic. The outside seems run down and in need of some repair. The ac worked well. The bed was comfy, the pillows mid. The hallways smelled of weed when we got back to our room at night. We stayed one night for the state fair, and it was a decent stay. This is not luxury but clean and basic.

While this hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast like the La Quinta near Walmart, I would choose to stay here every time. The staff is genuinely kind, professional, attentive, and willing to help when guests are dealing with a difficult situation. My experience at the La Quinta near Walmart was very different. When I needed understanding and assistance, I felt dismissed by a morning staff member rather than supported. After staying at hotels of many different levels over the years, it was one of the most discouraging customer-service interactions I have experienced. This hotel shows what true hospitality should look like: treating guests with respect, patience, and compassion. A free breakfast is a nice extra, but it will never outweigh the value of being treated with basic decency.

Room was clean throughout, and no sign of bed bugs. I was told it was a pet free room, but it smelled like pets had been allowed at some point. Hard floors, though, so no questionable carpet to deal with. Room had fridge and microwave; no coffee maker or hair dryer. Bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. Lighting was dim throughout, but mostly adequate. Walls were "thin" as I could sometimes hear people or dogs, but luckily most were respectfully quiet. Toilet flushed very loudly, but shower had great water pressure. Adequate outlets. I did not turn on the tv. No breakfast that I saw, but lobby had vending machines. Air conditioning worked fine. Free and plentiful parking. Staff was very friendly at check in; I had no issues, so that was my only interaction.

Surprisingly the hotel was really cute. Updated flooring. The rooms reminded me of Spark Hotels. I rated this a 3 because it so easily could be a 4 with a few minor changes. For instance, the bedding. Once you see that the sheets are thinning and the blankets have holes, just replace them! Do Not Continue To Use Them! The dinged up appliances in the room gave 2nd hand purchase. The fridge kept my items cold, but why have damaged appliances in the room? The microwave was banged up too. It worked. But again, no care. The toilet flushed like it was going to suck my entire body away. Do better. The sink in the bathroom was missing the stopper/drainer - smh. Little things. See photos. Full transparency. I’m staying here again bc the hallways did not reek of weed. And the room door shut quickly and completely. And the front desk staff were friendly. One more thing. Can y’all invest in some updated luggage carts? Thank you.
