It also advertises a super king bed, but this is actually two single beds pushed together, which was disappointing. “An absolutely beautiful hotel from the moment you enter the grounds. Wonderfully renovated property with gorgeous understated style everywhere. Our bedroom was luxurious and comfortable with complimentary minibar and home made snacks. Very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast and dining were of a good standard in great surroundings. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Will return.”

“Two houses converted to a hotel with multiple extensions done to an average standard: windows not fully opening, uneven and squeaky floors. Also the breakfast was OK but I had better in similar hotels (e.g. fried egg a bit too runny). High cost, given the standard. Main positives: excellent location by the train station and 10 mins walk from the ferry, accomodates late arrivals.”
