Posadas en Southwest Harbor

“The hotel is so-so, nothing special about them. Pretty old. On top of it, they charged $15 to change my original room that was not good. And then they wouldn't issue me a receipt. Later I called them to email me a receipt and they said it is an expedia booking and they can't talk to me. I called expedia and had the agent called them and they said the same thing to them. How the hell is anyone supposed to talk to them to get a receipt which they have charged for ??!!!”

“Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

“The property is very cute and cozy. All the basic needs are there. The staff were super friendly and helpful. their continental breakfast is a nice touch! I would 100% recommend. A small suggestion is to include a microwave (even if it's in a common area).”
