The rooms in the side wing need refreshing, especially the bathrooms. The location right on the beach is wonderful. The pools are great—it’s especially nice to use them in the evening when coming back from the beach!Pets friendly!!

Isla grand is always top notch we have rented condos there about 8 times over 2 years. Each condo is different do to being privately owned but managed by the resort. But they are all clean and well equipped. Isla grande staff has always been spectacular. This time we made a mistake and overstayed our reservation. The staff was understanding and quickly figure out how to keep us there that night. They are top notch. Ive stayed other places on the island and nobody comes close to Isla Grand.

Overall, the Isla Grand Resort was OK. Positives included the two pools, proximity to the beach, and the property’s location to restaurants. Negatives included carrying luggage upstairs/downstairs to our 2nd floor cabana, tight parking lot, broken ice machine, overpriced amenities, wearing a required green wrist band at all times, low ceilings for someone my height (6’9”), and loud music playing until 1100 PM every night at the pool.

The resort Was very clean , love the pool and heated pool. Ammenaties were soap conditioner, and body wash that smelled a nice fragrance of sage, we did get Queen size beds. They felt more like full size, but overall, very nice experience.

This is a very nice property. We stayed in the bungalows on the first floor, where able to see the pool with a partial beach view. Had we had been on the 2nd floor we would have had a full beach view. I must say, we really enjoyed our room, and the close proximity to the pool. Regarding the room, we did have some problems with the television and one of the lights, but it was very clean and we did enjoy it. The beach was very clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed the cleanliness and feel of the sand. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Overall, I would recommend the Isla Grand Beach Resort to all my friends.

Rooms cleaned, the staff was very polite and always had a smile. Pool was clean and staff would do chemical checks every morning. The roaming security guys alway treated people with respect. The restaurants had amazing food, my wife and I went on a fishing charter and they turned the fish into fish tacos for us. Amazing time at the beach and the resort. We had a great stay! One of the biggest perks was how easy it was to get to the beach—it was just a short walk with convenient beach access, so there was no need to drive. The property has two pools. They aren’t huge, but they were clean, enjoyable, and never felt overcrowded. There were lots of families with kids, so it’s definitely a family-friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of affordable food options right on the property, which made it easy to grab meals without leaving. Drinks aren’t free, but they’re easy to get with a pool bar and another bar conveniently located on the way to the pool. We also loved staying in a first-floor room with direct access to the pool. Being able to walk right outside our room and head straight to the pool made the stay even more convenient. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for an easy, relaxing beach trip with everything you need close by.

Amenities and staff were GREAT!! Ivy, the facility is pretty dated. Our room had lower water pressure than we have ever experienced. Hot & cold water pressure at the sink was very low, and the shower water pressure was barely enough to get rinsed off. My hair is very short and even I had to really concentrate to get it rinsed; I don’t know how my wife ever got hers rinsed out. Besides the extremely low water pressure, everything else was great!!
