“The Monastery Estate is a beautifully restored family house in the tiny village of Moni, not far from Sougia and the sea. It's an incredibly peaceful, intimate place with comfortable, quirky, stylish rooms and large patios. The view over to the White Mountains is breathtaking and there is great hiking nearby. We were extremely well looked after by Katerina and Marianne - nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with local suggestions. Highly recommended! ”

“It was a last minute booking, for only one night. When we arrived we were shown our room, which was beautiful and the view incredible. We had dinner in the tavern across the road. The food was wonderful. It was truly a great stay. A longer stay to experience the surroundings and amenities would have been wonderful, maybe another time.”

“L’hébergement sentait un produit type xylophene pour tuer les insectes présents dans le bois des charpentes par exemple et cela nous a donné mal à la tête nous avons ouvert toute la nuit portes et fenêtres en vain . Sinon l’endroit est exceptionnel Beaucoup de travail pour aménager ce lieu La route pour y accéder est très longue et finit par une piste de 3 km Une fois que vous êtes arrivés il y a un restaurant et comme vous êtes obligé de louer pour 2 nuits vous devez passer par leur restaurant...

“Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.”
