Fairly large room but a little run down compared to the other Thon hotels I have stayed at. Soundproofing was also kind of poor as we could hear people talking as well as foot steps when people on the above floor were walking around the room. Staff was friendly and the breakfast spread lives up to Thon hotel standard (really good breakfast variety). Location is very convenient as you can walk to all the nearby grocery shops like Coop, Bunnpris and REMA1000.

Rooms are not new, but I can see the hotel staff are keeping the rooms nice and clean. The lady at front desk is very nice. Parking lot right behind the hotel, quite convenient.

The restaurant was advertised as being open until 2100 on a Sunday. We arrived at 2000 to be told it had shut at 1900. There aren’t many other options in Sortland on a Sunday evening and no other compromise was offered by the hotel staff, despite the fact they were still providing food to a coach party beyond 2100.

Perfect little getaway !!

Amazing breakfast, awesome service and exceptional cleaniless, and they gave us Gammelstua ( their genuine fish farmer's house) which was fully renovated with a bathroom, kitchen and living room. it made our experience exceptional !!!!

I was given a room with a double bed. As I walked in I noticed the toilets flushing mechanism had come off the wall. I tried to fix it but realized that the unit wasn’t meant for that particular wall mount. I called reception and they sent a guy in. All he did was use double sided sticky tape and tried to stick it the best he could!! I was bemused at the whole thing. I would have expected that they move me to another room!
