It was a calm place to stay, but they do charge extra once you are there to check in and breakfast cost almost 21 not 16 how it says. The front desk staff also stated “ we dont know why they didnt tell you the full price while booking” then proceeds to charge 106 dollars more. Only 1 pool open, the rest are under maintenance and closed ( not as advertised ). Besides that the room was clean and a good stay.

My fiancé and I have stayed at this wonderful hotel for the last 5 Fourth of July holidays. We request our favorite room. The same friendly staff have been there each stay. The restaurant is amazing the staff there are second to none. We were greatly saddened that this hotel would be closing in a month. We shared tearful hugs and handshakes with the restaurant staff. I asked if I could purchase one of the paintings from our favorite room. The maintenance staff gifted it to us as a thank you for being dedicated guests. The above and beyond service the restaurant, gym, pool, the immaculate grounds kept us coming back. How do you replace that year after year????

I liked the pool I never used because I checked out early! The room was filthy, sink had rust, the bathtub was dirty, there was bugs and the room wasn't wiped down to where I saw the dust and the floors were not swept, I told the guy working at the front desk and he did nothing, he said he couldn't help me, but I could stay 2 hours longer, why would I want to do that when I didn't feel comfortable to take a shower. I'm calling my credit card company and I'm going to show the pictures I took of the room. The manager was supposed to contact me which no one did. Horrible place don't stay here, cheaper and cleaner hotels are on the boardwalk!
