We had two amazing stays at Docent 178 and Docent 121. Beautiful apartments situated in the heart of Old Port, Portland. You are in walking distance to some of the best food found in Maine. The staff were also incredibly helpful and one text message away. Maine in the summer is expensive, but if you are going to spend on hotels anyway, might as well do it with Docent!

This would not be the place for everyone. No elevators, window unit ac,tight quarters. But the ease, cleanliness and very attentive staff more than make up for anything!!! Right across the street from Maine Med center! A perfect stay!

The hotel was well located, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. However, the bathroom seemed to have a leak, as there were visible water stains on the ceiling. The other downside was the parking. It wasn’t free, and there was no option for self-parking, so you had to use the hotel’s parking service. Other than those issues, we had a pleasant stay and were happy with the overall experience.
