If you are travelling with more than just an overnight bag… pre-request the ground floor to limit the number of stairs and narrow hallways you have to lug your luggage (no lift). Outside of this… it is an old hotel with history and if you are looking for something quaint and a little different, this might be just up your alley”

“We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number.
