The staff was polite and as helpful as possible. 1 issue was the lights not working properly so having to change rooms. Then the tv not working. When we asked for assistance they said they knew about it and it had been a problem for a while.... there was no notice, discount, or other solution for this.

There was basically no breakfast tho it was advertised as offering breakfast. There were some things available - very limited and you had to pay for them. The rooms were clean but extremely small for the price. The staff was very helpful. The TV in the lobby was set to Trump giving a speech, which is their right and, perhaps we should all sit and watch our president when he speaks publicly, but given the current divided country, probably made some people very uncomfortable. Good location in Sitka, close to the cruise lines’ meeting area. Good museums in Sitka.

The room had a nice view and it was in town; only 10 minutes from the airport and the staff was very helpful. The room itself was not clean and you could write your name in the dust on the mini-refrigerator, which I found out when I went to turn it around so we could get into it more easily. The hotel had the microwave and mini-refrigerator sitting sideways and we didn't know why, because it was difficult to access, so we turned them. Then, we realized why. Their clothes rack is above and you cannot hang clothes with the appliances turned correctly. The rooms are not made for those requiring walkers, much less a wheelchair. My mom had a walker and it was very difficult. The lobby/breakfast area was also inadequate for my mom's walker and I would recommend eating at a different restaurant for most meals unless you are okay with spending $90 for 1 order of fish and chips and a bowl of soup. Enjoy!
