“Stay was good. The loacation is very nice and it worked very well for where we needed to be. The place could use some minor fixing up and maybe some fresh exterior painting. We wrapped our work up there a day early but paid for the full 11 days. Wish there could have been a way to get reimbursed for thate last day that we didn't stay.”

“An absolutely charming place. It is a very cozy house and the treatment is very familiar. The room we had really spacious and perfectly decorated, which highlights the large vintage collection of iron plates and other antiques. The owner very friendly and fun, with an excellent service of homemade breakfast. Maximum cleaning in the room. Comfortable bed. Excellent wifi. I do not think there's a better place in Caribou. Thank you so much for everything...!!!”

“It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter.
