The rooms were quiet, clean and the staff very kind and readily available. The breakfast was well stocked. Besides all the usuals they had browned potato chunks and even better - cinnamon rolls! Pool was large and clean. Just to note tho if stormy clouds roll in — they will close it early. Also be prepared that they have no coffee makers in the rooms.. so bring your own or bring instant or go downstairs (24-7) and use their fresh brewed machine. Overall a lovely place near I-20.

The sheets were stained, the room old, the bathroom was mostly clean, the breakfast staff noncommunicative, the breakfast good, but we didn't utilize the pool. We will never return to this hotel. If it's rated as excellent, it makes me terrified of the ones that were just listed as "very good."
