would first like to say a big thank you to papa who made us welcome from the moment we arrived till the moment we left, he helped us park, made us laugh and arranged our early takeaway breakfast, he was amazing. perfect hotel in the centre of everything, lovely room, and nice rooftop bar.

We had a great stay at Hotel Chicago. Parking was easy to find and always available with very friendly staff to help navigate. It was a little tricky to find reception (go downstairs, to the end of the hall and up the elevator) but once again, the staff went above and beyond to help us out. The restaurant probably has one of the nicest views of Shkoder and make sure you go hungry for the included breakfast. The spread was very impressive and delicious. The room was very clean and quite big with be try modern controls for the room temperature, Do Not Disturb, etc. It

It is a Hotel quite hidden, but very centric. There is no restaurant, the AC is not used… free breakfast not worth paying… we couldn’t eat anything. Only the 5th floor is the hotel everything else apartments or offices. There is a Morca accross from it that makes noises at 10pm and about 4:30am. No one comprehends English only Enev a young food server and the parking attendant who lived in Australia. There is a restaurant (local) behind hotel near pizzeria the offers traditional very tasty and inexpensive food. Go to the Lake and National Park Thef. Also attend the Memory and Witness museum near by.

The staff at the front desk I believe her name is Sara (red head) is amazing! She is very helpful and attentive and wears a smile all day. The hotel is on the 4th floor but there is an elevator from the parking lot however you do go down into a dark basement to work your way up. The parking attendants were so kind, helpful, friendly and honestly just wonderful. He helped us take our bags up. There is also a different entrance but not sure how to get there we tried to take the stairs down the back way and got completely lost we had to come back up so stick to the elevator. Its a strange set up. The view from the open rooftop is wonderful overlooking the pedestrian walk and the Mosque. When you enter it will feel hot, but that is because the terrace is completely open but the rooms have AC. The room was enough for my son and I. I have to say I stayed at a beautiful Marriott in Tirana but the pillows at Hotel Chicago were the BEST!!!! I like how firm the bed is too. The room was spacious and even had a jacuzzi that we did not use, but amazing that they fit a jacuzzi in there. For a one night stay it worked out just fine. I would stay here again. The breakfast was decent, but I enjoyed the egg whites and sausage more. The COFFEE omg the Cappuccino was SO DAMN Good, I can't stop thinking about it. Overall, great hotel in Shkroder, great location. What a beautiful city if you can stay longer than one night I would!

Wonderful!

The staff here is absolutely phenomenal!! I fell a little in love with the girls at the front desk ((Ola, Marcella, and Estella). They were SO positive, kind, welcoming, and helpful! Fabiola at breakfast is also FABULOUS! The hotel is super cool! It's both modern and comfortable. It's located in a pedestrian zone filled with shops and restaurants. The bus stop is also an easy walk. A tourist information center is also an easy walk. Highly recommend!

The service was above and beyond expectations. My wife had an accident while hiking in Theth, and we had to come immediately back to Shkodër. The staff was so kind and accommodating, helping us with everything we needed, giving us the closest room to the elevator, service from the hotel restaurant (delicious food), ice from the bar to help with my wife’s injury, etc. I can’t say enough about how kind everyone was. On top of that all, the room was excellent, spotless clean, and very comfortable bed. Thank you Hotel Chicago!
