“Immaculate room, very comfortable. Excellent bathroom - good shower, good towels, shower gel provided. Wifi worked fine - no problem connecting and good speed. Staff were very helpful and very friendly - that's the stand-out thing, really, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was everything I'd want and very tasty. “Well we have really enjoyed our stay here at The Wherry Hotel. Check in was easy, our room overlooked the water and was very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries, fans and a radio all included. The hotel is getting tired in places, it does need some tlc in some areas and there was one staircase that did have a nasty smell. “Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”
