“Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home.”

“Great location, great hotel”

“Lovely little ryokan, very traditional and homely. Traditional breakfast was tasty.”

“Hospedaje inmejorable!

“Great place for solo or couples, staff was helpful and even though I came early I was able to lock up my bags before my check in, bring cash for the added tax or just pay with card (extra fee). Rooms are pretty much sound proof, showers were open but private, room is straight to the point and there’s space under the bed for luggage, an open kitchen to heat up your convenience store finds. Around 20+ minutes walk to some nightlife and shopping! For me it was a bit hard to get a taxi but the city...

“It was great, just didn’t like that I had to drink downstairs. If I needed water I had to go downstairs to drink some. Also there were designated shower times which I wasn’t a fan of but made it work”

“This was the cutest hostel above a cafe/bar. Breakfast was delicious and we were close to walk to many of the sights and train stations. Would definitely stay here again.”

“I like the location at Gion... all near the main places and train stations and Staff are very friendly... total recommended”
