“The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.”

“Great stay here - we arrived around 20:00 on a horrible stormy Saturday and were greeted and checked in cheerfully and quickly. Room was small but had everything we needed. We had dinner in the pub and that was a genuinely lovely, I'd go back here again just for a meal. Portions were generous and the food was delicious.
