Vacations Close To Shelter Cove Towne Centre

Property is a beautiful old mansion. It’s in excellent condition. Pam at Reception was outstanding! I strongly recommend avoiding a room on 1st floor. Room was beautiful however so damp that our towels were wet and had to be changed out. Other guests in same floor said they experienced same issue. Also quite a walk into historic district and riverfront. Were walkers so it was fine but if you’re not into walking several miles a day I’d rethink the location. Again, the beauty of the building is outstanding but choose your room wisely depending on the season

The staff at the front desk appear helpful until their not. When checking out Saprina who was extremely Helpful when checking in, I Requested a print out receipt. It wasn’t provided I could say it was an over site, however I called back 3 days later to request my printed receipt and Renee at the front desk sent it right over , I opened to Find I was charged for my valet after speaking to Saprina it was cover in my booking. Called right back , Renee kept putting me on automatic hold . I kept calling back she then answered advising she issue the refund - I requested a revised receipt . I had to keep calling back , she then answered placed me on hold. , processed the refund and the receipt email while I was on hold . I call the concierge to assist. Renee took me off hold , when I shared my email refund came through she chuckled. Very unprofessional and not JW Marriott quality. It hard to get quality people - for the kind of money spent- that is poor quality service for customer service. I am certain JW record calls , the call process occurred thursday 10/1/26 started 3:52pm-4:10 pm.

The staff was so nice! Precious at the front desk and Saivon at the reception area were incredible! Look for the babies 😉

The only negative was having to walk up 2 flights of stairs w heavy bags.

Our visit to the Hamilton-Turner Inn was WONDERFUL! The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The beds were comfy and the rooms spotless. We loved the breakfast, water, tea, coffee, and late night cookies and port. If asked for one suggestion, it would be to add a railing to the front door steps. We will return!

The staff were very helpful and it’s a beautiful place to stay. I will for sure be back again for another long weekend.
