Hostales en Shawbury

“The staff went out of their way to provide me with a breakfast in the morning as I was unable to make the time due to catching an early train.”

“It was fine, nice surroundings and quiet”

“No hot water the first night, though they mover us to another room the second one (much smaller). Excellent breakfast, and really kind staff.”

“The Lion Hotel is a historyful place, very confortable and with a very responsive staff. ”

“Smallish room as expected but we'll appointed, clean and in great location. Took us roughly 15 mins wall through a park, over bridge and alongside river into town. We were lucky to have the limited on site parking space. Room was quiet, bed low but comfy. Nice stay. Have only given 3 stars for staff as we actually did not need to meet any. So, not applicable.”

“Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.”

“Loved our stay here. Very quiet room, clean and cosy. Fabulous staff, especially Shannon. Good food too. Highly recommend.”

“The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.”

“A bit noisy but great location otherwise”

“Quirky building which makes a change from modern chain hotels. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is available and very good quality although as you have to wait for it to be cooked, it's not ideal if you are in a rush to get away in the morning.”

“The room we had was super charming and had everything we could possibly need. I got the best night’s sleep of my entire trip while we were there. I would most definitely stay there again if I were in the area again.”

“Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.”

“A superb stay. Very friendly. Lovely property in the heart of the town.”
