Very good hotel. I loved the location as it allowed me to explore the neighborhood this hotel was in which was very cool and where the locals are. Very close to subway and bus stations and walkable to other areas.

Mayplace Seoul-Conveniently located and great valu

Very conveniently located hotel with all necessary services provided. Breakfast was amazing, short walk from the palaces, daily room cleaning was done, laundry in the basement was convenient to use. Only improvement can be done for the power outlets as they seemed loose and not fitting the adapters well but we found a way to work with those.

Friendly and efficient staff and service. Clean, well equipped and spacious room. Great location close to royal palace and lively University neighbourhood. Good food options nearby. No metro station nearby but many buses option to go everywhere.

The male staff at the front desk are unfriendly and lack basic manners. When I asked for food delivery because I was feeling unwell, they told me to do it myself. The breakfast was terrible, so I ended up not eating it even though I paid for it. The employees at this hotel donโ€™t smile or show any kindness. Itโ€™s okay if you just need a place to sleep, but donโ€™t expect any kind of service beyond that.

Centrally placed near the grand palaces and easy to reach by bus / subway. The personal was kind. Even tho some didn't speak english that well they always tried to help.

Dinner too reserve on the day of the meal and even then itโ€™s not sure if the restaurant is open. Breakfast is limited for Western custom (mainly rice etc) If you want a taxi you need the Uber/Kakao app. Reception doesnโ€™t call a taxi for you. Good room with facilities. No unnecessary disposal items (toothbrush etc) ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

The staff were excellent, rooms and bathroom were nice, very close to shops (7/11, restaurants etc) and transit options. The only problem we had was the internet was incredibly slow. It was really frustrating because we could not even load simple websites to check details for our trip. I ended up purchasing a data plan for my phone. I would not recommend this hotel if you are relying on the wifi for work, trip planning etc.

Refund rejected

I had to checkout earlier due to early morning transfer needed to the airport. But they refused to refund remaining 1 night stay which made me upset. I had to stay till evening and checkout. Airport shuttle bus service is disturbed due to low volume of passengers caused by COVID-19.
