So glad (no pun intended) I stayed at this hotel for my first trip to Seoul. The hotel was very well designed, spotless, and super convenient since it’s on top of a very well connected subway hub. You can get almost anywhere and 20 minutes. Also, there are great restaurants in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. Highly recommended!

Great stay at the Glad Mapo hotel in Seoul. Hotel is ideally located, right next to Gongdoek station which made travelling around Seoul very easy. Room was perfect with walk in shower and plenty of space. Breakfast was good especially the Asian selection. Highly recommend a stay here, very reasonable and also easy getting to airport, local stopping train taking about an hour directly from Gongdoek station.

Very well-run hotel. Also very convenient. Close to Gongdeok Subway Station (not recommended for Senior travelers). Taxis (recommended mode of transportation for Senior travelers). are very affordable and you can use the Uber app in Seoul. The BEST way is to have the Glad Mapo hotel staff arrange the taxi to your destination. They will inform you of the taxi cost in Korean won. The staff arranged the airport transfer (large van for 4-adults & 5-suitcases for 100,000 Korean won (about $75 USD). They informed us to wait on the comfortable sofas in the 9F Lobby and that the driver will meet us!

Received an upgrade for my room. The front desk was nice and friendly. Breakfast is ok for commercial customers. Location is good because it is near the subway station and also a lot of restaurants opened til midnight.
