Vacations Close To Mouse's Tank Trail

Appreciated the early check in after an early morning flight! Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was well maintained and the room was huge. Only downside was the adults only pool closure.

Planet Hollywood is our go-to in Vegas, but this stay was just "Meh". Made reservations for adjoining rooms with our friends, but beware......do NOT check in at a kiosk if you have a "note" attached to your reservation, as that "note" will not be honored at the kiosk. Would have been very helpful to have known that at the time! We did not get adjoining rooms with our friends. We weren't on the same floor. In fact, we couldn't even use the same elevators! The staff offered to give us a room closer to our friends, so we changed. It wasn't adjoining, it was a much smaller room, but it was on the same floor as they were. BUT we were next to the elevators, and it sounded like we were staying on the runway at the airport! There is little to no sound insulation, and the sound of the cars going up and down all day and all night was more than unsettling and provided a horrible sleeping/napping environment. There was also a big patch of something sticky on the carpet that I stepped in every time I got near the bed, so I just covered it with a towel. In fairness, someone from the hotel called on our last night there and offered a $100 voucher to each of us for food and drink inside the casino. We enjoyed a nice dinner on them, but the whole experience just wasn't at all what we expected from Planet Hollywood. It's a handy place to stay, so we'll probably be back on our next trip, but I won't be checking in at the kiosk again, and I will make sure we're nowhere near the elevators!

It was not a good experience. Our beds were not made when we checked in and they still weren’t made at 1 am , the mirrors had hand prints on them and the elevators didn’t work half the time. I will never stay at the RIO ever again

Only thing that when we arrived to the room wasn’t clean but the rest super nice
