Quality, Comfort and Character

Despite arriving late and the automatic key machine not working, we were checked in very quickly and the service at this very friendly hotel was great. The rooms are AMAZING: lots of character and high quality finish. Thank god for the Air Conditioning! This was the best quality room we stayed in during our 14 day, 12 different hotels, road trip!

Éviter chambre 102!

Nous avons demandĂ© une chambre tranquille - effectivement donnant sur le jardin il n’y avait pas de bruit de voitures. Par contre Ă©tant au rez de chaussĂ©e le bruit des douches, bassins, bref tous movements d’eau du dessus dans les tuyeaux m’avait rĂ©veillĂ© plusieurs fois dans la nuit. On aurait prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© une chambre tout en haut. Par ailleurs bizarre la sĂ©paration de la salle d’eau sur mezzanine des WC dans un placard Ă  cĂŽtĂ© des lits.

Stayed here after visiting Alesia. Absolutely first class hotel. Attentive staff and a great (early) breakfast selection. Town is beautiful, with great bars and bistros where we were made very welcome. Highly recommend.

Un hĂŽtel de petite ville.

L'hĂŽtel se situe au bord de la route traversant la ville. IdĂ©alement placĂ©, il permet d'ĂȘtre au cƓur de la vieille ville Ă  pieds. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s vers 14h, un distributeur automatique nous a dĂ©livrĂ© notre clĂ© de chambre. Pas de rĂ©ception ouverte Ă  cette heure. Nous avions la chambre 101 qui est situĂ©e Ă  l'avant de l'hĂŽtel et donnant sur la rue. La route est pavĂ©, ce qui engendre un bruit assez important lors du passage des voitures ou des nombreux vĂ©hicules avec remorques. Cela peut gĂȘner certains, pour notre part, non , car les fenĂȘtres sont assez bien isolĂ©es. La chambre fait partie des premiers prix, donc le cadre est assez basique. La salle de bain comprend une baignoire et une douche Ă  l'italienne. Le lit Ă©tait assez confortable (2 lits simples). Un bruit de petit claquement provenait de la climatisation ou d'une canalisation Ă  l'arriĂšre de celle-ci, et s'est fait entendre tous les soir jusqu'Ă  une certaine heure, sauf le troisiĂšme jour oĂč celui-ci a durĂ© toute la nuit, ce qui nous a empĂȘchĂ© de dormir ... (Le bruit s'est fait entendre mĂȘme avec la climatisation Ă©teinte. J'ai mis ma main contre l'appareil, on sentait les vibrations du claquement ... ce qui a Ă©tĂ© signalĂ© Ă  la rĂ©ception lors de notre dĂ©part) Je dĂ©conseille fortement la chambre 101. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂšs bien fourni avec du sucrĂ© et du salĂ©.

En baisse ...

La chambre est assez froide Ă  votre arrivĂ©e, et la climatisation ne la rĂ©chauffera pas mais vous empĂȘcherai de dormir. Le petit dĂ©jeuner a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs dĂ©cevant, limitĂ©, au prix de la nuit et du pdj, on est parti assez déçu de la qualitĂ©.

Geen douche

Het was een heerlijke ruime hotel kamer, erg schoon met leuke unieke details. Een erg leuk hotel met een ruime keus bij het onbijt. Het enige minpuntje vind ik het bad (hierin moet je dus douchen), zonder enige spatbescherming. Voor de wat ouderen onder ons is het onhandig om over een badrand te stappen. Je kunt niet in het bad staan en dus niet makkelijk een snelle douche nemen.
