Really fun experience and a beautiful location. The inside has everything you need. We had issues finding it but the host was very helpful. The issue with location is that my maps app had the name listed as something different so it took me to a different glamping site.

My husband and I really enjoyed this! It is a little chilly but they have heaters/ fire place and heated blankets. The host was very easy to get a hold of (go to thier website for number). Also, double check correct address, we took address from Expedia and put it in our Apple Maps and it took us to the wrong location for the first time (look up to golden circle glamping domes, NOT the lake one). Also, I would definitely bring some sort of dinner if you have not already ate because there's not really too much around there- there is a restaurant, but it closes a little bit early, so just beware of that!

The domes look great, located down a relatively short drive on a gravel road. In our dome number #2, none of the heaters worked. The lights over the bed did not work, causing the dome to be on the darkish side and the bedside plugs did not work so no using the electric blankets in the cabinet. We contacted the manager and asked for more wood and assistance with the issue with the breaker. We received extra wood for the first night however all subsequent conversations about more wood and electrical issues were not responded to, evenings/mornings were cold. The shower was fabulous! Everything else was fine, all the usual kitchen accessories were available with a nice selection of salts/pepper.

This dome was perfect! Very clean which is the most important to me. It had all the essentials, extra blankets and the beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back!

Horrible experience at the dome

We were told that there will be an email the day before our arrival to guide us through check in and access to the dome. We arrived at 4 pm and nobody was there. We did not get an email. ( yes we checked junk mail) Tried to call the property. Nobody picked up. We waited some time and tried calling again then decided to go ask in the nearby shop whether they know anything. Thats when we received a text with the code to a key box. The door wouldnt open. We managed after 30 min of trying. The owner did not react to our text asking for help. Finally in the dome it was freezing cold. Only two small portable heaters that we then turned on. Not a pleasant experience. The view was on trucks and a construction site.
