Location very good ,short walk to the beach. Clean room and overall ok. I was thinking that breakfast was included in the rate for a room bu it was not. One day we had to pay extra £30 for breakfast for us 2. Staff was also little bit funny with me at breakfast as I am foreign.I did not feel welcome. I would not stay again.

Such a lovely little place to stay. Close to Scafell Pike and the beach. Friendly and professional service. The room was comfortable with everything you’d need in there. We will definitely be making a return visit ☺️

Angela and Paul were went out of their way to accommodate us at breakfast time. The breakfast was really good! They are a lovely couple, who offered some really useful information about places to eat and local information. The Cumbrian Lodge is excellent value for money with all amenities provided. I would thoroughly recommend.

Great B&B

Absolutely wonderful stay! The B&B was charming, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, but what truly stood out was the breakfast — hands down one of the best we have ever had. Every morning was a treat! The hosts were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for both couples or families.
