Basic but comfortable

If a basic overnight stay or two is what you need, this is a perfectly good place to stay. Easy car parking, good basic facilities including a guest microwave and darts board in the lobby area. Room had a smart TV and small bathroom with a nice shower. Overall a nice little no-frills stay for the price. Had the characteristics of a hostel but the privacy and cleanliness of a hotel.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Although please don't use over powering laundry conditioner, it was making me sneeze! Apart from that great value for money, would stay again! 😁

Drug stench

I booked two rooms, one room was on the ground floor and the second room was on the 1st floor. Ground floor room as soon as you opened the hall door the whole hallway stunk of weed which seeped into the bedroom. This smell made it uncomfortable and caused me to heave and feel nauseous whilst down there. This stench was there throughout our stay including when leaving. The single bed had bed slats missing, my daughter tried to fix it but slats were completely missing and she had very little sleep. The whole place looks very run down and I need of a makeover and would not be somewhere I would recommend to friends and family

An alround Okay hotel…… But I must say the mattress on the bed was a huge let down. As a landlord myself I know these mattresses to be the cheapest, nastiest and downright uncomfortable. Just changing this would have made my stay so much more satisfying and would have meant return bookings. Having these uncomfortable beds means I shall not return 😞

Good place for business trip

Nice and lovely hotel in the center of Scunthorpe. Good service, clean rooms, working TV. Parking is a bit dodgy but there is a big space in front of the hotel and loads of space around.

We were shown our double room which was actually a single room with a double bed in it,the room was not clean,the other residents made us feel unsafe,there was one of them spitting all over in doorway.The pictures on the internet are ones from when the other owner had it and the place is now proper run down.We returned the keys and did not stay.
