The place overall didn't look like the pictures on Expedia. We chose a non smoker side and the inside of the hotel room still smelt like cigarettes and had a cigarette burn in the bed sheets. The shower didn't work properly. The room on the inside was clean? Overall I will not be going back to this hotel.

I’m always here! Would give it a 4/5 because sometimes I get rooms that don’t have hot water to shower & white towels are always dirty (they should invest something in new towels) but overall 4/5 they do got breakfast probably have only ate it twice but it’s good food.

Bed was clean and comfortable. Towels were soiled. Vinyl floor was dirty, toilet was sweating and possible body fluid on bathroom door (inside). It is an older hotel, which can be charming, but this was not the case here. Management seems unconcerned with even basic maintenance. Door didn’t even shut completely. Breakfast was poor at best. Choice of white bread, runny eggs, possibly sausage from yesterday, stale cereal, coffee, and a make your own waffle with a dirty waffle maker. Nothing to drink but coffee. Breakfast is only 6-8 and when I asked about water, the desk clerk told me I could buy a bottle of water for $3. Clerk said if I “wanted water I should go to the Marriott.” They could have offered ice water and basic hot tea, oatmeal packets and fresh fruit and that would have made a better experience. Fridays gives you 10% off dining or Sheetz is across the street.

At a low price, I do not have super-high expectations, but I DO expect what was advertised. When making the reservation, having a breakfast (even just cereal and coffee) was a huge consideration. So it was very frustrating to check-in and learn that breakfast willing not be offered because the motel is too empty. To me, that is false advertising. I *paid* for that breakfast. In addition, the linens (towels and sheets) all had ugly stains on them. They seemed clean, but it is hard to look past the stains.

Positives: Inexpensive, clean room with new furniture, including twin beds with firm mattresses. Good location with easy access to Interstate 81. NIce landscaped courtyard in the middle of the hotel, with a large grassy area to walk in. Negatives: numerous. No chair in the room, so nowhere to sit except on the edge of the bed. No furniture (tables and chairs) out in the courtyard, contrasting with the photo displayed by the hotel - there was nowhere to sit outside. Quirky television service, many channels unavailable, some redirected automatically back to the QVC shopping channel. No deadbolt or chain on the door for nighttime security (the chain had been ripped off). The handle on the temperature control for the shower rotated loosely, so it was easy to end up with a scalding hot shower - and no way to quickly turn it off. Breakfast was a minimal continental breakfast, with terrible coffee. The exterior of the hotel was poorly maintained, with peeling paint in many areas. Overall: this hotel has a lot of potential, with a little effort for upgrades it could be a good option, but as it now is it is not a pleasant experience.
