The hotel is small with very little amenities, but the location in the historical district and the welcoming staff counter the lack of amenities. You can literally walk to most everything.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning was great during a very hot summer stay. Bed was comfortable. Great location easy to walk everywhere. The Planters Tavern right next door was amazing. Valet parking was very convenient. Will be back again

It was close to everything that we want to do this trip. Waterfront, 3 minute walk, street restaurants very close, entertainment location was great, Two large parking garages within a 3 minute walk. Prices for them were a little high, but not to badly. Everybody was super happy that we were there an helped us often. Great weekend Hotel for having a great historical and Southern Hospitality good time.

If you want a historic hotel vibe right in the heart of downtown this is your hotel. Staff was professional and friendly. Valet (Mr. Carl) was amazing. We only drove when we visited Tybee Island. We walked everywhere downtown. Hotel is historic but super charming. I will be back!!!!

We arrived during the afternoon and from the get go the experience was amazing. The staff was very courteous and welcoming. I chose the valet parking and it was a breeze. The rooms were clean, bathroom was very clean and the air conditioning was just perfect.

In summer when you are in the south, the AC has to work. Mine was awesome. The staff was great. The location is prime. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go in the historic district. If you plan on visiting Bonaventure, book a tour that provides transportation. Valet parking is available. Use only if you plan on taking your vehicle out multiple times a day. Otherwise, the parking garage is across the street.
