Ive traveled to Tybee my entire life. It's where I spent my time making memories with my grandma and grandpa during the summers. We always stayed at Royal Palms. However, Royal Palms has gone up tremendously in price the last couple years, so I adventured out to find a new place to call home in the summers, and I found it! I don't know why I never tried Atlantis Inn before. It's so cozy and quaint. Not only was it priced extremely affordable, but it's also clean, and the pier and shopping strip is just feet away. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent there this stay, especially talking to the staff (Mrs. Sue)! It was so ironic to find out that she herself grew up in the same place as I did. Listening to her story made me smile, and it brought back that old feeling of being somewhere you feel welcomed and wanted. That good ol' southern hospitality! She's absolutely amazing! I recommend that you definitely stay here at least once, just to make your own incredible memories, and find out for yourselves what a hidden gem this place truly is. Ive now found a place to reminisce my childhood.

Floors weren’t swept cabinets would not close and drawers were tied shut no blow dryer 2towels 1 wash cloth for 2 people for 3 night stay had to ask and go get them every night but the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly location is perfect and cute inn all together just needs some updating

Had a lovely visit at the hotel. We stayed for two nights and there was no housekeeping during our stay, not even for fresh towels or trash removal which we weren’t expecting. The place could have been a little cleaner, in particular the floors weren’t super clean and my white socks got filthy after one walk to the bathroom and back, and while it is an older property, the room was nice and big, and the staff was very friendly and kind. All in all for the price we had a great visit, and will be staying with them again.

We booked a family suite to have more space. Our tv did not work, the sink would not drain, the sofa was so filthy that I took one of the extra bedspreads off an unused bed to cover it. The office staff tried to get the tv working and after lots of plunging the sink remained clogged. The office staff moved us to a smaller room. The sink immediately clogged in it but after we requested a plunger, we got it working. The pictures are not accurate. The building, furniture, and fixtures are extremely run down. I am no diva and can deal with an old building as long as it is CLEAN but this one was not clean. I was not refunded the difference that I paid for the family suite vs the regular room. The location was great. The staff was super nice.

The owners seem like very kind people and initially when I walked into the room it looked renovated and very cute! However, this place has SERIOUS mold issue. In the air vent, the ceiling light, and especially underneath the sink. It looks like the issue has not been addressed in the slightest. Like they just painted over the issues with cute decor. You can tell by how the place smells that there is a mold issue. When I saw underneath the sink I got so worried I slept with a mask on all night the night before I left (thankfully I only stayed for two days). The owners needs to address this, as it's putting people's health at risk. It gave me a massive headache as well, and when I would leave the room it would go away. Other minor issues including none of the outlets working except for one, and my phone charged very slowly, I actually went out to my car to charge my phone quicker. The place is very cute and a close walk to the beach but not worth the price at all.
