Put us on the second floor. No elevator so had to carry luggage and all our leathers up the long flight of stairs. At least the desk clerk helped us carry a couple things up. Chose it because of the hot tub but it wasn't working. Breakfast wasn't much. Barely enough to call it a breakfast.

No dresser. No luggage rack. No coat hangers. No coat hanger rail. Faulty smoke detector that chirped until we took it down (replacing the 9V battery did nothing). No latch for door. Door was beat up like there had been a forced entry. This place is scary. Never again. Too many other options in Sault St.Marie.

We had clean rooms. However, they were renovating. We asked for a handicap accessible room and they could not accommodate us. Therefore, we had to walk down plywood since they were installing carpet. We were looking forward to using the pool after dinner. However, we were informed that we could not use the pool because it was cloudy. The breakfast was OK if you like all cold foods or things you can pop into a toaster. The only thing that was warm was the coffee or the hot water to add to your packet of oatmeal. I would rate this a three out of five Plus there was a group of 4 men smoking pot behind our room on the grass by the grill.

The dead bolt to my door did not work. There was no security chain. I did not feel safe You could see where people had tried to pry many of the doors open. The lock to the buildings back door had been ripped out. Wires were still hanging out of the wall. I feel this building had no security at all.

Pool was beautiful. Lots of shortcomings otherwise. A few examples: Secure lock on back entrance broken, ice machine broken, no soda in machine, bathroom fan made loud noise all night, no Kleenex available, breakfast terrible. No table space in room. Workmen blocking lobby and hallways.

I didn’t like the fact that I was told I wouldn’t be getting a refund even tho I only looked at the room and said no no way are we staying here. There was black mold on walls by the window. And you didn’t dare turn on the fan or heater not sure what would’ve blew out of it but there was crumbs and dog hair all over and the lady that checked us in was very unpleasant to us.

Clean but hot tub was out of order

The hotel was nice and clean and quiet. However I booked this hotel due to it having a hot tub. It was “out of order” but it worked. We were not allowed to use it because of a step when the railing to the pool was 10xworse.

Focus on small stuff you guys are almost there!

It was overall nice but up front didn’t have our name gave it to another person and literally disturbed them to say they messed up the rooms plus behind the tables and stands were a fair amount of garbage otherwise after all that it was nice

Both of our rooms were dirty. Had spider webs in different areas, walking on the floor it felt gross and sticky. Trash was thrown behind the night stand, and behind the television. The house cleaner was rude. Not a very good stay at that hotel. Next time we will go to a hampton or best western hotel. They are much cleaner
