I really enjoyed my stay, the room was nice and clean, the AC worked and it was quite quiet for being downtown. The bar has great beer on tap and the morning breakfast room is charming.

Rooms were extremely clean and everything worked. The water pressure and drains worked very well. Breakfast and balcony were just ok. The service exceeded my expectations. My Wife and I have stayed here many times, and we love the ambiance of the old hotel. Very historic and beautiful. Walking distance from the river and shopping. The English pub in the hotel is awesome. The rooms are small, but that's part of the charm of this old Hotel.

This hotel fit our budget and we wanted to be downtown, so we wouldn't have to use our car. It also had free parking and free (minimal) breakfast, and we appreciated not having to pay anything extra. It is a historic old hotel and it reflects that. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly. I wouldn’t stay there again but my husband says he would. There you have it!

Gorgeously updated historic hotel smack in the midst of downtown. Busy bar district at night, but quiet inside. Upstairs from the pub, but not a sound made it to us on the second floor. Stunningly restored, and a spooky bit of lore about it. Comfortable beds, nice and dark at night, great location AND secure parking out back for a few vehicles. Would have loved to have asked the staff for some stories or history but didn't want to pry. Continental breakfast was lower end, but the room it's in is absolutely worth the cup of coffee.

Heart of downtown, next to the mall and coors event centre. Location is amazing. Building is an older character building and the rooms are really spacious. Hallways too! We really enjoyed this hotel. Small but nice continental breakfast, everything was clean, very friendly and helpful staff, plus comfy beds. The adjacent pub was pretty decent as well!

Bed was comfortable, room was large and clean. Had free parking but was very limited. The one downside was how loud the bar and the street foot traffic noise was well past 2am. Not a huge issue but a lot of the university crowd seems to gather there on Friday nights.

3 night stay - beds are supremely comfortable. Dennis and the other front desk and clean up staff were very helpful especially because we had to early check-in. Breakfast covers the important carb food groups. Unfortunately, no microwave to heat up any leftovers you’ve ordered. Hotel is more than a century old and holds up nicely - lots of character in the building.

We love this hotel.....the staff is lovely, the location is great. I would like to have a shower cap instead of three make-up remover packs. The breakfast is adequate but I a gluten free and there were just regular muffins and no option for toasting bread which I usually bring with me. There was yogurt and fruit which was great. We are coming again next month and will stay at the Senator.
