Great vintage property. Close to Venice downtown. Shops and restaurants short walking distance. I’ve stayed a couple of times. Good value. Clean.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower is more like a cruise shower (pretty small) but it was a great shower! This is a clean "mom and pop" motel and we enjoyed our cozy stay!

We just were doing a quick overnight while we visited friends in the area. This motel had a nice central location and was clean. Our room was a little snug in the bathroom for us, but served it's purpose.

A great little throwback to a past era. Walked everywhere. Needs some TLC but for the price and the location we will definitely stay there again. The younger staff members were very kind and helpful.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
I understood I was getting a deal for a last minute hotel and knew it would be older and small but the state of the room was terrible. Most reviews I read did not match my experience. The sheets were very stained (some looked like blood) and I'm still not positive they were clean. We ended up using our own towels from outside because the ones provided did not look or smell clean. There was urine running down the sides of the toilet so you know it hasn't been wiped down in a very long time. Our shower wouldn't drain so we had to keep shutting the water off while standing in ankle deep dirty water. The bathroom door didn't shut or lock properly. I hate to leave a bad review but the cleanliness of our room didn't meet basic standards. The location and price was great but I could never stay here again. Every surface needs to be thoroughly wiped down and disinfected.

Parking easy just outside or near your room. Located 5min walk from main shopping and restaurant area. 15-20 min walk to the beach. Looking for budget friendly spot this is the place.

Vintage like simple room was perfect for my stay. Loved the location, I walked everywhere. I think it is a mile from Venice beach, close to Publix, Goodwill, library, and Venice art center. My bathroom was small but perfect for me. Only thing I wished it had another outlet or adapter to plug in all my electronics. But it all worked out. I will return.

We found our room very nice clean quiet and cute. Old style from the 50s so not flashy very restful considering so close to the road. Nice surprise was the backdoor to a padio and grill we ate lunch and it was very nice.

It was a clean room pretty basic no complaints. Establish really nice. Parking is a little tight and I never got to experience Paul but the other residents are really cool and the young guy working front desk. He is awesome. Probably the best employee they got but that’s nothing bad against other employees. He was just really helpful and nice.

The hotel is in a perfect location downtown. The hotel is not very clean nor is it well maintained. Upon checkin we were assigned a room that was smoked in and in terrible condition. The staff was able to assign us a different room, better but still not good. There was another person in the lobby complaining about cockroaches in his room and the staff was offering to cancel his reservation for a $79 fee.. I never saw bugs in either of the rooms we had been assigned. We won’t be back.
