A lovely break!

My 12 year old son and I stayed here as part of a trip to Lake Placid. So quiet and peaceful, while being so convenient to restaurants and shopping in Saranac Lake. Very clean, and the caretaker could not have been nicer. Would absolutely stay here again!

The Prescott House is a charming old building. John, the host and manager was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very quiet. I would visit again

A unique place. rebuilt older mansion very nicely done. loved the experience and the caretaker was quite a nice guy. I was travelling on my own and it was so nice to stay in a place that is not just a cookie cutter chain hotel.
