This hotel was lovely! My suite overlooked the back terrace and the mosque/old city. While it was a bit loud at night, the view was so beautiful, I didn't mind at all. The complementary breakfast was amazing, and the spa treatments were wonderful. Cena, the aesthetician, was so nice and friendly. The location is perfect for walking to almost anywhere in the city. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

The staff was brilliant and very helpful. However the temperature in the room at night was horrible. I visited in early april when it was below 20 degrees celcius outside, yet the room was hot at night which made sleeping very difficult. Also, the shower was broken in my room.

Lovely hotel. The Viennese cafe is beautiful. The cafe and the bar are really good value for money, not the usual hiked up hotel prices. The corridors have a nice decor and the rooms are nice. I had a great view overlooking the garden and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque which was lit up nicely at night. Rooms have an extra bit of security when you go out - you get a standard key lock as well as digital card entry.

During my stay at Hotel Europe in Sarajevo, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of service provided by the front desk associates. Every time I needed assistance or recommendations for places nearby, they were consistently professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Their dedication to high standards of hospitality truly enhanced my experience. The breakfast buffet was another highlight of my stay. It offered a wide variety of delicious and highly nutritious options, including fresh fruits, hot dishes, assorted drinks, and delightful desserts. The quality and selection exceeded my expectations and provided a perfect start to each day. Overall, Hotel Europe is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Sarajevo. I had a wonderful experience and fully intend to stay there again during my upcoming visit.

The biggest advantage of Hotel Europe Sarajevo is its location. It's very convenient, being close to many of Sarajevo's main attractions and just a short walk from Baščaršija, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job keeping everything clean. The waiters were also excellent throughout our stay—friendly, attentive, and professional. Another useful feature is that the hotel has its own currency exchange and a shop on-site, which adds extra convenience for guests. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite outdated. The furniture in both the bedrooms and the lobby is old and worn, and the property would benefit greatly from a major renovation and modernisation. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, which was appreciated, but much of the food was often cold, which took away from the overall experience. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. We were able to use it for the first two days of our stay, but it was then closed for two days without any prior notice or communication to guests. It only reopened on the day we were leaving, which was frustrating, especially as the pool was one of the facilities we were looking forward to using. Overall, Hotel Europe has a fantastic location and excellent staff, but the dated facilities, cold breakfast, and poor communication regarding the pool closure prevented it from being a higher-rated stay.
