A lovely place with a great breakfast and stunning views. Renting a car is recommended for convenience. It is about a 20-minute drive to both Oia and the airport, and Fira is nearby around 15 minutes drive.

Faultless…. From start to finish both Manos and Chris made our stay incredibly in fact words cannot describe how incredible this place is. Santorini is beautiful yet are areas of Santorini which our a little too busy for our liking. The Vasilicos is a tranquil, beautiful piece of heaven in between some fantastic towns (within walking distance). I cannot imagine there would be a better place to unwind, relax and spend quality time at the most romantic place we have ever stayed. I cannot thank Manos and Chris more for going the extra mile in making our memories unique and truly perfect. You guys are an asset to this hotel and lucky to have you…. We will be back time and time again and have truly found our peice of paradise!!!! 5* isn’t enough….

I found The Vasilicos online, and I thought the property was beautiful from the photos on the website, but the beauty cannot truly be expressed in photos. The property is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Manos and Chris took excellent care of our group by arranging transportation for us and anything we asked of them. We had an amazing breakfast each morning. The Vasilicos is conveniently located along the pathway, and we enjoyed several walks around the area. There are shops and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the beautiful Belvedere suite and private plunge pool. The bathroom was well appointed with toiletries and towels. The staff took excellent care of us.

Absolutely amazing stay for our honeymoon. We loved everything about this hotel. The workers went above and beyond to make our stay even more special especially the male worker (forgot his name). Breakfast was amazing. Location was perfect away from the noise but within walking distance to restaurants. I did so much research before booking and I can gladly say this was the perfect location and hotel. Stunning views!

Our stay in Santorini was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Every single person we interacted with was warm, kind, and always ready to answer any questions with a smile. It’s rare to find a team that makes such a lasting impression, and the V-team truly did. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, so clean and peaceful, with stunning views of the sea and island that we never got tired of. You have a front seat to what probably is the best view from the island. There was a sense of calm and charm in every corner, and it was clear that a lot of thought and love goes into keeping the place so special. One of our favorite little touches was a sweet cat named Summer who lives on the grounds. She added such a cozy, homey vibe; our daughter especially adored her. It’s small things like that, combined with the genuinely caring people and the breathtaking setting, that made this stay feel so personal and memorable. We can’t wait to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip to Santorini so magical!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at The Vasilicos from July 16-20. We had never been to Santorini before, and our plan was to 'veg out' after a family cruise the week prior. We did not know what to expect, however we were completely amazed, not only at the views from the hotel, but at the exceptional service provided by everyone there. The location was prefect – away from the crowds in Fira (a short walk away) and Oia (a short drive away). From the moment we arrived, we were pampered by the very friendly staff and there was never a moment that we felt neglected or forgotten. They took care of transportation arrangements when we asked, our breakfast was served promptly when we requested it every morning, and they were happy to recommend wonderful restaurants no matter which town we were planning to visit. Both Dimitrios and Chris handled all our luggage delivery to and from our room without any effort and really took wonderful care of us. Their chef, Yannis, was exceptional in both his preparation and presentation of our meals, in particular the fabulous Caldera Candlelight dinner on their patio with an unobstructed view of a magnificent sunset. The rooms are well appointed, and the pool was just outside our door. It was truly a perfect holiday in a magical setting, and we would most definitely return to The Vasilicos without hesitation!!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, with pool, beautiful, and had a stunning view that made the experience even more special. The breakfast was delicious and served on the terrace, which was the perfect way to start each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful — they truly made our stay easy, relaxing, and memorable. The location was also great: only about 10 minutes from Fira. While it’s farther from Oia, the scenic 2.5-hour hike to Oia was absolutely beautiful and worth doing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini.

The Vasilicos is one of those rare resorts where the expectations are exceeded and better than the pictures, which are already awesome. We were in the Vassaltis suite which had access to the pool. The pool was heated and beautiful. The room was amazing with a very comfortable bed and dual rain showers in room the size of a small bedroom. Manos was an excellent host who thought ahead on everything and helped us navigate Santorini to its best experience. Chris was a very lovely porter. The service team was fantastic. And Summer the cat was a great mascot. Thank you for an excellent stay.

It’s not often that one encounters a perfect 10 score in a hotel review, but in this case, the Vasilicos earned their kudos. We booked the hotel because of a last minute itinerary change. The location in Imeroviglio is perfection: crowds gathered at the gates of the hotel for the gorgeous sunset. Our room had a private patio with a shared infinity pool, landscaping, and an occasional visiting kitty that gave an air of eloquence and calm, while we watched the spectacular sunset. Manos, the proprietor, arranged transportation to the hotel from the ferry port. Our hotel room was spacious and luxurious. The amenities included thoughtful touches of numerous snacks, beverages, toiletries, candles, slippers, bath robes and beach towels. The shower was impressively spacious and clean. Bed and linens were comfortable. Meticulous attention was given to daily cleaning and turndown service. The hotel’s attention to detail elevates it above the rest. In fact, it was like staying with friends. They arranged for same-day dinner reservation at the most popular restaurant on the island. Each morning, breakfast was served at our private dining table in front of the hotel room, and it included freshly baked bread and croissants, eggs to order, coffee, homemade honey and jams, pastries, freshly cut fruit, and charcuterie. This enormous tray was brought down two flights of stairs. On leaving, proprietary olive oil was given as a parting gift. We could not recommend Vasilicos highly enough.

Unforgettable week at the Vasilicos

Great location, amazing views and excellent service. This hotel is a gem. Christos and. An essay made our stay memorable. We stayed at the Belvedere suite, which is very spacious and has an amazing terrace. You can just stay there all day and take in the amazing caldera views. Vasilicos is an easy 15-20 min downhill stroll to Fira and there is also plenty to do around. If you do not want to be among tourists all the time, it is a great spot. Would come back in a heartbeat.

The Vasilicos was THE PERFECT STAY for our vacation in Greece. The location was perfect and the views were immaculate! We stayed in the Pergola suite and it was definitely 10/10! The staff was nothing short of amazing and they were so hospitable and helpful with recommendations around the island. If you are coming to Santorini, PLEASE BOOK HERE! You will not be disappointed!
