Wonderful stay for a honeymoon experience. The staff was super helpful from the start with luggage support. They always welcomed us with a friendly smile. The late check out facilities were wonderful for our late flight out. The spa was amazing for a couple, well worth the price! Would 100% recommend this stay.

The property is very nice in terms of location and construction, the common areas are under-utilised, there aren’t enough pool umbrellas and the towels are raggedy, it’s impossible to stay by the pool without cover from the super intense sun. The music is terrible, the volume varies, often times being way too loud. This property is advertised as a non smoking one, however people smoke everywhere and most disappointing is the fact that the staff smokes on site sitting at the floor right in front the path towards the pool. The breakfast is always the same and it’s not aimed at anyone that isn’t an omnivore, zero consideration towards vegans, specially being that we stayed for two weeks while everyone else was there for a couple of days at a time, we mentioned this to the staff repeatedly, their reaction was to simply not serve us the same amount of food and variety the other guests got, not even a plant based milk on site. The (I guess) manager couldn’t care less about what is going on, never left the office and did rounds or asked how things were going, although she was very enthusiastic to recommend vehicles for rental and was disappointed when we returned after one day. Upon arrival the niceyoung man left to deal with anything and everything, which incidentally can’t do much because there is no staff in the property after around 2pm is clearly instructed to deter anyone from using public transportation and go for the vehicle rental option, which is extremely expensive.

We stayed a week in Santorini. Beautiful, clean hotel with great caldera and city views. They cleaned the room daily, friendly staff, and they have a small parking lot (which seems rare now after seeing other hotels on the caldera) which we used to park a rented ATV. Location was great, many good restaurants nearby but quieter than being in the middle of Fira. Some reviews complained about breakfast, I’m not sure why, it was free and was plenty. They bring breakfast to your table with numerous options, it is not buffet like some older pictures show but we looked forward to it everyday. We had a couples massage, pricing was fair in my opinion (not cheap, not overpriced), but the massage was excellent (one of the best we’ve had). We had an upgraded room with a balcony, not sure what the cave rooms are like. We had a “plunge tub” on our balcony. We assumed it would be an hot tub, it is actually cold. We checked out some other hotels and apparently the cold tubs are common because it’s so hot in the summer. Overall would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Ira Hotel! We booked the Honeymoon Suite, and it was absolutely worth it. The views were incredible, and having our own private pool made the experience even more special. The staff were amazing and so accommodating, especially with our late departure. They even have shower facilities available after checkout, which was such a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious every morning, and the lady who greeted us each day always started our mornings with a smile. We also appreciated all of the great restaurant recommendations from the staff. We’d absolutely stay here again!

This is small unique boutique property. Location is perfect and walkable to a lot! The views are just killer! Breakfast was simple but adequate. Note that if you book 2 rooms of the same room type they may look drastically different as was our case. I wasn’t particularly crazy about the room I ended up in but made it work. The second room was awesome and I’d book that specific room again in a heartbeat! Overall you can’t go wrong with this property.

From the moment we stepped in, we knew we’d chosen right. The staff were welcoming and helpful with great knowledge and guidance of the island. Our room was consistently cleaned to the standard we walked in to (an amazing one) and the bed was incredibly difficult get out of from how comfy it was. The included breakfast was great and got us set for the day with a variety of both food and drink. A free bottle of wine was a lovely plus and stores for additional drinks are nearby as the mini bar is, as can be expected, expensive. Sun loungers and an outdoor pool kept us glued to the hotel when we weren’t out. Though everything at the spa is a surcharge, that wasn’t a bother as the views took up most of our time anyway. Located around the middle of the island, do keep in mind that you’ll be walking to almost anything you want to go to (not an issue as everything you want is nearby (check out Volkan On The Rocks!). From Fira bus station, we were able to walk uphill for around 20 minutes before reaching the hotel. Overall, an amazing experience enhanced by a brilliant hotel that we were always keen to come back to. Can’t recommend Ira enough.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ira Hotel. Our room and the lounge area was comfortable, clean, and the views were breathtaking. Breakfast each morning was good although from the website photos we assumed there would be a buffet breakfast but it wasn't. Check out the photos to see what the complimentary breakfast included. Also, the website showcases a rooftop area with triangle shades that you can enjoy meals on but it's the hotel next door, not the Ira. Konstantina and Alex were the perfect hosts and they really took good care of us. You'll enjoy this low key and quiet area that's away from the crowded area where cruise ships dock.

I am a solo female traveller and absolutely loved my 5 night stay at the boutique Ira Hotel and Spa. I had a clean, quiet room on the pool level, where I slept soundly. The dipping pool was very refreshing and I was lucky to have my own lounge area, since the lounge beds were a little close together. The views of the caldera were spectacular and the Firastephanie location was magical. No children also, added to the peacefulness, with chill music playing, it was not a party hotel which what I was looking for. The included breakfast was very generous, actually more than I could eat. The excellent staff was friendly, efficient and attentive, I can't say enough positive comments about the staff and the welcoming experience. The jet lag massage was great and helped me sleep after a long journey. The best part of Santorini for me was this boutique hotel.

There was no hot water. Place smelt like sewer. You can NOT get ice. Breakfast is terrible. They only give 1 key so your room can not keep AC on which means all your drinks in your fridge get hot and cold. Disgusting. Pool was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Great view of caldera. Shame about the weather as would have been lovely to sit on balcony or by pool area. The shower room had a smell of drains which wasn't pleasant. Breakfast was ok - plentiful but ready prepared plates rather than given the choice of what to have. Would have preferred to have a buffet style which also would have been less wasteful. Reception staff friendly and helpful. We appreciated the luggage storage on our last day. Hotel situated within easy walk of Imerovigli and Fira town. Bus from Fira town was a far cheaper way of transferring to the airport than using taxi (about 15 min walk down the hill). Hotel arranged taxi from airport to hotel at a cost of €25 pp whereas bus cost €2.20 pp.
