We absolutely loved our stay at Above Blue! The room was clean and even more notable was the incredible panasonic view right outside our door. The team was so kind and friendly and George even reached out after our stay when something came up to help us get things resolved. It's a great spot with restaurants nearby and also within walking distance to Fira when we wanted to explore. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Above Blue!

The property is outdated nothing about is new or modern.. still nice but inside my room there was messed up things that needed actual fixing and just looked like landlord hack job fix up’s.. it was a good size room.. absolutely no cell phone service or wifi service in the bathroom.. behind the bed is no head board so I and other guest I came with who went to lay back on there pillow ended up cracking there head on a hard white concrete base.. the staff were friendly and the balcony has an amazing view.. the breakfast was ok .. DELIVERY SERVICE (like Uber Eats) u have 3 options to choose from 3 restaurants.. that is all.. I truly couldn’t believe the lack of delivery services available..

The “hot tub” is actually a cold tub. The hotel explained that the solar panels and air temperature affect the water, but they acknowledged it was cold and unlikely to change. Since the hot tub was one reason I booked this room, I may have chosen differently had I known. That said, the location and view made the stay worthwhile. Being at the top of the caldera meant we didn’t have to climb eight flights of stairs every time we left, which was a huge plus. The sunset view is incredible. You can watch the entire sunset over the caldera from your private terrace and skip the crowds in Oia altogether. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy one of the best views on the island without leaving your room. The room was clean, the staff was lovely, and breakfast was excellent—delivered to our terrace each morning at the time we selected. Housekeeping was a little persistent even with the Do Not Disturb sign up, but everyone was kind. The location was great: about 7 minutes from Fira by ATV and 15–20 minutes from Oia. ATV rentals are directly across the street at the market (€75/day), with a few shops and restaurants nearby. Despite the convenience, it’s very quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location, breakfast, staff, and especially the caldera and sunset views were fantastic. The cold “hot tub” was the only real disappointment.

Our experience at Above Blue Suites was incredible. Everything was spotless, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and full of flavor we genuinely looked forward to it every morning. We loved being able to choose what we wanted and having it delivered right to our room.
