A little hidden treasure. Behind the nondescript front is a delightful garden and pool and good fun restaurant. It is not a 5 star in the luxury hotel scale but a 5 star in friendly solid accommodations in a beautiful setting. We visit Santa Barbara to visit daughter and grandson and spend the day poolside. Like going to a resort.

The Lemon Tree Inn is a delightful property. The rooms are large and clean with very comfortable beds. Our room had a balcony overlooking the central courtyard area. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a full-service restaurant in the hotel which is excellent. There is both indoor and patio seating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return the next time we have plans to go to Santa Barbara.

The grounds are lovely, however the rooms could use some love and attention. Housekeeping was so helpful, and the staff in the restaurant was as well. I had a wonderful breakfast there, the only meal I ate there, and the front desk staff was also very attentive. I think the addition of the bar and restaurant is much appreciated.
