Very spacious apartments. Grounds are nice. The road was a bit noisy in the morning.

Spacious and cool apartment in a small complex. The kitchen is small but has two cooker rings, a fridge, kettle and microwave. There is an oven in the shared section together with a washing machine, dryer and big freezer. The on-site restaurant is good, set meals only and only open for dinner at the weekend when we were there. Breakfast available every day if pre-booked. A nice pool that was popular with families. A 10 min drive into Banyoles for main shops. Overall, a good value place for a few days stay, or longer.

Very disappointed with our stay at L'Arcada de Fares. We were expecting a quiet, authentic country experience, but the reality was the opposite. The apartment lacked basic comfort—the sheets smelled damp and moldy. The noise was also a major issue because the property sits right by the highway; sitting on the terrace meant staring at the road and listening to traffic noise. Additionally, guest comfort isn't prioritized when it comes to climate control, as the air conditioning settings are controlled to their liking rather than allowing guests to adjust it themselves.

Disliked: Cleanliness

Great facilities but lack of maintenance

Hotel has great facilities, but it has poor cleanness. we found, at least, 30 bugs inside our apartment. We had to remove the bugs several times as they coming out from somewhere we could not find. In addition, closest and other places in the rooms where not clean and smelly. We report the issues at check out as we checked in late afternoon, were going to stay for one night, and did not want to have other people coming into our apartment to clean.

Aceptan mascotas

Nice country apartment.

Great stay. Amazing area . There is a town nearby that has a lake, which is awesome. Bike rentals and amazing area to swim and also walk around lake. Really likes this hotel. Only issue was it was next to a freeway, but it was fine at night when the windows were closed. The pool was nice. Great area for small children. Staff are all lovely!
