Great hotel with a nice pool. Great service. It is a bit of a walk into town if you are travelling without a car, with no shops nearby. Aircon in the rooms could be better

This hotel only provides a room. No housekeeping is included, no towel change is included. You have to request and pay for it. AC didn’t work the first night, water got cut off the second night. Phone wasn’t working in the room. Unhelpful staff. And above all, we have to take care of our garbage and clean the room before check out. This property is not a resort, it is more like an airbnb. At least it is quiet.

After initially feeling a little disappointed, as we arrived the very first day of the season to find things were not open or functioning, we ended up having a wonderful 3 night stay here and would definitely like to go back at a different time. Hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a little out the town so if, like us, you don't have a car be prepared to walk! But it's perfectly manageable to reach beautiful beaches by walking.

The staff at Terradimare were wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating. Location is just a short walk to San Teodoro and super convenient to a market. The pool was lovely. We had a small issue with our room and it was rectified immediately. If in the area I would definitely stay at Terradimare again.

Great place to stay if you like peace and quiet.

Efficient and helpful front desk. Located a mile outside of the downtown area in a very quiet neighborhood. Although the place was full, we never heard a sound from outside our room.

Really, relaxed hotel with a pool in a quiet location but within a 10 minute walk of the centre of San Teodoro which has a host of restaurants, shops, stalls and bars. The rooms are spread out and no more than 2 story’s tall.

In my opinion it not at all what I expect from a 4 star hotel. Room is small, the bed is tinny and room is not equipped as a 4 star room should be. This hotel reminds me of some cheap motels, I have stayed at many years ago. Wifi is not good. Many hotels asks for email address, but when I tell them, that I don’t want to spread my email, they accepts. But Terradimare they wouldn’t check us in before we gave the email address. No restaurant for dinner at the hotel. 20 minutes walk to the many restaurants in the city center. Late check-inn and early check-out is not to be customer oriented. The indoor pool was closed and the outdoor pool was cold.

I paid $550 for one night. I understand it was a last minute booking, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. I won’t go into detail about the room itself, which felt outdated for the price. However, for $550 a night, I at least expect a comfortable bed with quality pillows and a decent mattress. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.

Short break with my daughter

Good parking. Short-ish walk to the main town centre, bars, restaurants and the evening market. Decent options for breakfast, cured meats, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruits, etc. A good range of lunch options, too. Bar service was very good although it did close at 23:00. You need to be in town for drinks any later than that. There is a shuttle bus available to the local beach which is beautiful with crystal clear waters. See photo for the schedule that applied when we visited in Aug '25. There is a good sized pool when you'd rather not get sand between your toes. Lifeguard is on duty for the majority of the day. He does have a day or two off over the week though (quite rightly).

Ants in the room, stinky sheets and bad management

Be aware that the apartments (where we stayed) have problems with ants. We found a lot Ants in multiple rooms - some even found their way to our bed and suitcases. Not what you expect from a 4-star hotel! We also had stinky sheets in our room - as if the sheets had been standing in a sack with wet towels for too long. When we told the reception/management they (apparently) checked our sheets, but didn’t find a problem with them. We had no doubt and could smell it- and the cost of changing the sheet for the hotel would be zero to nothing. But the management is apparently not interested in providing the service you would expect from a four star hotel. Another thing: when you stay in the apartments you won’t get cleaning, fresh towels, fresh pool towels, toilet paper or anything like that. You even have to take out your trash when you leave the apartment. The rooms are outdated and in poor condition - beds are not very good either. On the positive side: Breakfast and bar staff was was very kind and welcoming.

We received a warm welcome, and were shown quickly to a room that was clean, well laid out and more importantly kept cool. The area around the pool was busy but there was space on loungers whenever we visited. The breakfast buffet offered a good range of different options. The man working the bar was very friendly and attentive throughout the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Terradimare. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It is absolutely not a four-star experience. The amenities are far below a four-star standard, and the equipment is also subpar. We had ongoing issues with the door—so much so that for the first two nights, it wouldn’t stay closed, and we had to contact maintenance multiple times. It was so unsafe that we literally had to sleep with the door open. Additionally, there is no 24-hour reception—we had to collect our keys ourselves at 3 a.m. from an unattended desk, where all the keys were just left out in plain sight—completely insecure. The breakfast area is basically a greenhouse—so hot and uncomfortable—it really should be outside, especially in a place like Sardinia. Overall, the breakfast was more like a basic three-star setup—definitely not what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
