“The property is under renovation and was not informed from the website. So it was very dusty even inside the room. The staff is very helpful, friendly and attentive. I requested to re clean the toilet as it was not properly cleaned and someone did came and clean it. Over all it is a lovely place when renovation is done. We had a good time. We did not swim on the beach though as it was low tide.”

“After we checked in, my girlfriend and I found the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It was promptly replaced and things were back in order. The bed could’ve had a thicker mattress and the room didn’t have a tv, otherwise we were pleased with the room. We enjoyed the delicious room service meal during our evening, and the grounds and beach were very nice and clean.”

“This our 3rd stay at Kandaya. Sadly, lots of upgrading is needed now. We first had a deluxe suite booked. Foul smell was coming from bathroom, TV wasn’t working well and air conditioned was not functioning well. We eventually moved to a villa, which was better but bathroom needs upgrading, tiles from the pool were coming off as well. Gym definitely needs a lot of upgrades. Air condition was always not properly functioning and ALL equipments were so old, most were taped off and too old to use....

“The staff are nice, the room was okay but the aircon was so loud it felt like we were on a jetplane and waking up with jet lag. Even if we switched off our aircon, we can still hear the other rooms aircon. Water to brush teeth is really stinky.”

“we stayed this place for one night. the only problem is there's no shower and no hot water. you would have to use a cold water on a bucket and tabo. but everything else its good the staffs are friendly. rooms are clean.”
