We loved this hotel- the staff were lovely, and so accommodating. We needed to leave our bags and it was no problem. The room was so clean, and very modern. Such a nice vibe! The location was ideal- everywhere was walkable and close to all the sights in Old San Juan.

5 stars customer service, they did their best to accommodate us. The room we reserved smelled bad due to water not being run and they gave us a different one right away. The jacuzzi was working but wasn't cleaned, perhaps they didnt have anyone using it in a while. The location is great close to the center of san juan.

Everything that was within their control was amazing! They were all very helpful with giving us information about possible things to do, where to eat and with issues that we had with the water situation that they are having in Puerto Rico. I would definitely stay there again in a different occasion.

Puerto Valdes Review Overall, we had a good experience at Puerto Valdes, and we really appreciated having us as guests. The place was nice and we enjoyed our stay. There was a tiny ants near the patio door and in the garbage can that I mentioned, but unfortunately nothing was done about it. The sheets also had a lot of stains on them, even after receiving new clean sheets, some of the sheets were noticeably stained. Looked like dried blood. Over all this was a good start for our trip. Customer service was great and the front desk attendance was great they did try to help as best they could . Other than those issues, everything was great. Thank you again for having us!

Nice hotel about 20 mins walking from all the old San Juan. The staff were nice too. The room was spacious and cold. It was on the second floor and we had a small outdoor patio with chairs I think that was neat. The room has a small kitchen area if your going to stay longer and a couch and a queen bed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Puerto Valdés! The location was perfect—close enough to walk to all of the major landmarks and attractions in Viejo San Juan, yet tucked away just enough that it never felt overcrowded or noisy. The staff was exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. They were always happy to answer questions and offer recommendations, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was very well maintained. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the overall comfort of the property. Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was the perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back the next time we’re in Puerto Rico. Highly recommend Hotel Puerto Valdés to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay in Viejo San Juan!
