Despite the poor reviews I read recently about the hotel, my experience was very good; it was relatively clean and very cozy, and the staff were very attentive. It is true that soundproofing is an issue, but overall I’d give it a 3 -4, fair for the price

6/10 Okay

Elevator on the verge of failure, walls lacked sound proofing. An old property with visible and cheaply done infrastructure upgrades. Staff had difficulty finding reservations and communicating. Excellent bar/restaurant attached. Window AC and ceiling fan never succeeded in circulating the stale air. The all night loud TV and smoking by my neighbors is not the hotel’s fault, but indicative of the people you will sharing a hotel in this price range with. I don’t expect more with my limited travel budget, but others might.

Super cute hotel. Staff was super helpful and kind. Very clean. Def a few things that could be easily updated, but nothing was a deal-breaker. Location is a bit sketchy, but it’s easy to adjust your plans to accommodate that- just be thoughtful about it. Will stay again for sure!

This property is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Staff are friendly and helpful. I also liked that stairs are a carpeted option to the elevator, rather than just an emergency exit stairwell.

The appearance in the website is different in reality. Only one staff that is accommodating - Jocelyn and she is helpful. The other staffs, we need to wait for them to give us service. The toilet cover is not properly fixed. The smell of the room is not nice and the elevator is so small and dirty. The good thing I can say is that they have free water bottled every day.

The front desk receptionist was rude and unwelcoming. When I walked up, he didn’t acknowledge me and left me standing there in silence while he continued doing other things. The lobby itself was fine, but the stairs, hallways, and elevator were extremely run-down, musty, and honestly unpleasant. I genuinely don’t understand why Expedia rates this as a 4-star hotel…it felt like a 2-star hotel at most. The room itself was fairly clean, but extremely small and suffocating. There was also NO A/C, which made the room very uncomfortable and made the overall stay unpleasant. The french pastry attached to the hotel was really good and nice people. Tell them you’re from the hotel for 20% off order.
