This is a gem of a motel in what usually is very pricy San Francisco. Well-maintained and very clean property in a terrific location, close to the marina and Fisherman's Wharf, and especially perfect for those who are driving into town, as the property has free parking and a good number of spaces. We will definitely stay here again.

I loved this place. I felt safe, plenty of secured parking (gated) . Rooms are very clean and comfortable. And the staff is very accommodating. San Francisco has ALOT of street traffic, no matter you are. I just closed the windows and turned on the a/c...no more noise.

This motel has easy FREE parking, it is clean, safe, and well presented and maintained. It is extremely well positioned where walking to great hang outs is easy, and driving to great places is equally as convenient. The rooms are not huge, but large enough for a five night stay. I highly recommend the Star Motel.

The staff was pleasant, the parking was easy. Such a cute place and well maintained! The only thing I would add is blackout curtains because the shutters still let light in. We would definitely stay here again!

Super cute room and stay. Great location and for a road side motel, it was worth the price. The original booking had mentioned a continental breakfast, however there was none provided. Overall, it was a decent experience.

The Star Motel is great choice for travelers on a budget. The motel is clean and in a safe neighborhood of San Francisco. Great choice for a traveler with a car as the parking is included in your stay! Only thing to call out is if you are an extremely light sleeper this motel is on a main road in San Francisco. It personally did not bother me but I feel it’s important to note!

​I had a wonderful stay at this motel in San Francisco. The place was very clean, and the staff was polite and welcoming. The motel looks like it was recently renovated because everything feels fresh and brand new! On top of that, the location is absolutely perfect. Overall, it was a great experience.
