Stayed for 6 days and everything was great. Wherever you visit, you can always choose to stay at a modern up to date hotel. But if you want a taste of the past, this place is fabulous. It’s beautifully decorated and a piece of art. Very walkable to Japan town and close to chinatown. Would stay here again. It’s reasonable with low cost parking and free breakfast. And my bed was very comfortable. John at the front desk was the best. Friendly and always so helpful. Looking forward to next visit.

It's a nice hotel but for the price I would've stayed elsewhere. I partially blame Expedia for over hyping this stay. It listed the breakfast I was one of the best you'll find in the city yet it was a standard breakfast you'd find at sub 200 a night hotel. Also for being a historic hotel, there was an awful lot of AI art. If your going to charge so much for being such a prestigious building, I shouldn't be eating at a table covered with anime girls with deformed hands.

Cool historic San Francisco experience. Very unique and iconic Victorian architecture and nuances throughout make it a very unique experience. Staff are wonderful. Cool amenities like free breakfast and Sherri with cookies in the evening. Love this place!

Absolutely stunning building and rooms, front desk staff very accommodating and parking was very much appreciated. The only room issue was that the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work and there is no window to assist in ventilation. The breakfast and dining was decent and fresh. Other than the front desk staff, the other employees we encountered were a bit stale. We would definitely stay there again when we have more time to explore the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Queen Anne Hotel! We have two kids, so we booked a king suite, which worked perfectly for our family. The hotel is beautiful and full of Victorian charm. It’s 136 years old, so if you’re looking for ultra-modern luxury, this probably isn’t the place for you. We absolutely loved it, though! We prefer older hotels with character, history, and charm, and the Queen Anne has all of that. The original woodwork throughout the hotel is especially stunning. The location is also great and very central, which made it easy to get around and explore different parts of the city. We loved being able to have breakfast at the hotel before starting our day. The afternoon cookies, tea, and sherry were such a fun touch, and there was always hot coffee and water for tea available in the lounge. Most of all, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. You can tell they really take pride in the hotel and in taking care of their guests. Overall, a 10/10 stay at the Queen Anne. We would absolutely stay here again!

Parking was easy to find. Staff is very kind and respectful. Room was clean. Great location can get to many touristic spots with ease as it is conveniently close to this hotel. If you like historic/antique hotels this is the one for you. One area of improvement would be that if someone books a room for five people they could provide that room with a sofa bed or something similar as the room I booked had two queen beds that only fit four people. Other than that it great experience!

I would definitely book this hotel again. It’s within walking distance of Japantown, as well as the restaurants and shops along Fillmore. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast, afternoon sherry and cookies, and complimentary town car service to places like Golden Gate Park and Fisherman's Wharf are especially nice touches.
