“A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced.”

“Among the variables I consider in a hotel at the time of making the choice, service is one of them. Novotel Sofia has one employee at the reception named Rosen who is a gem. Not only he helped me with anything I needed to know about Sofia (transportation, restaurants, places to see, etc.) but he helped me with some issues that arised about the reservation in the most efficient way and making sure the problem had been solved. The management of the hotel should know he has an outstanding customer...
