“Das Hotel ist direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Hauptstrasse gelegen. Noch dazu handelt es sich dabei um eine Senkenkurve, was bedeutet, dass LKWs, Busse und andere Fahrzeuge dabei bergab (laut)stark abbremsen und anschließend nach der Kurve wieder (ebenso lautstark) beschleunigen müssen. Entsprechend hoch ist die Lärmbelastung, und das leider auch nachts. Geöffnete Fenster sind daher aufgrund der zehn Meter Luftlinie bis zum Straßenverkehr keine wirkliche Option. Selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern...

“Wir waren Anfang Oktober 6 Tage in einem Comfort Appartement. Die Einrichtung ist recht neuwertig, die Küche komplett ausgestattet und vom möblierten Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick ins Tal und auf die Berge. Die Betten könnten bequemer sein, zudem gab es nur ein Kissen pro Bett. Positiv: Das Appartement wurde entgegen den Informationen automatisch und kostenlos jeden 2. Tag gereinigt. “Colazione ricca e abbondante che incontra i gusti di tutti. Dalla frutta fresca (diversi tipi) al pane, torte e dolci fino ad arrivare ad una vasta scelta di salato oltre a quello che è possibile richiedere sul momento (omelette, uova al tegamino, ecc.). Le camere sono belle e di design molto gradevole. Poi ci sono due piscine di cui una a sfioro sulla terrazza e una bella spa.”

The hotel was extremely pretty in a vintage way, reminds me of We Anderson aesthetics :) Room was classy and well-maintained despite being able to tell it’s been around for a while. Not hot even without AC. The balcony was the prettiest of all!!!! Food was just as enjoyable. Dinner was €35pp, a good 4-course deal. Breakfast omelette was simply lovely, almost ordered every day loll”

“There was so much to do at the resort. We enjoyed the vast amount of options for swimming and spas, it was very relaxing. There was also so many activities to keep us busy when we wanted some adventure. The food was excellent and the staff were great during our stay. ”

“Seguramente, uno de las instalaciones más completas de Merano. Habitaciones amplias y confortables. Muy buena zona de spa, con piscinas y saunas. Desayuno completo. Está en una zona residencial sin ruidos. Buena calidad de sueño. No está cerca del centro, pero Merano es una ciudad pequeña y tampoco se puede decir que esté lejos (a unos 15 min a pie) La pega principal es que está muy centrado en clientes que hablan alemán. Y aunque en el personal habla inglés e italiano, toda la documentación...

“Estuvimos hospedados 2 noches en la habitacion Estandar. La cama matrimonial era bastante chica, de 1,40 de ancho, que si bien era habitacion Estandar no corresponde a las estrellas del hotel. La atención muy buena, y el desayuno excelente!!!!”

This place used to be called Habsburger Hof and who knows, maybe Empress Elisabeth, Sissi, stayed here when she arrived by imperial train and made Meran popular with high society? Naturally, this hotel too would have had its own restaurant back in the day but now catering is reduced to a bar with some nice wines and coffee. Room spacious, bed good, shower OK, staff punctilious. Very convenient for people like us who arrive by train.”

“This hotel is not recommended to stay the hottest months, the room has no air conditioning and being next to a road with a lot of traffic you can not sleep with the window open. Otherwise it is a hotel that is quite good and surely in the colder months it will be very nice.”

“Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit Balkon, das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Da ich nur eine Übernachtung und auf der Durchreise war, konnte ich leider das Wellness Angebot nicht nutzen. Preis-Leistung könnte etwas besser sein. Ansonsten hat mir der Aufenthalt gut gefallen!”

Ho soggiornato assieme al mio cane ed anche lui è stato benissimo un posto ideale per passare qualche giorno assieme ai nostri amici a quattro zampe. Il personale è davvero squisito e gentilissimo forse però non con una grande esperienza. Il ristorante elabora piatti da fine-dining, porzioni piccolissime ma non è affatto un esperienza di gusto.
