This is a boutique hotel and as such it is a bit eclectic. First off, you couldn’t be in a better location for tasting rooms (try Pikes Road right under the hotel) and restaurants. It looked like fun shopping, neat little stores, but I didn’t go. It’s an easy in and out if you are driving and convenient to many wineries around the Valley. The parking is fine.
The hotel itself is quite small. There is no lobby and no checking in. It’s electronic codes. If you have even a small problem with stairs, find somewhere else. The stairs are very difficult and there is no elevator. I emailed for someone to help with our luggage both in and out and they were extremely accommodating. If you are accustomed to instant hot water, not so much. Probably a good 5 to 7 minutes in the morning.
Our bed and linens were terrific. The kitchen is quite small but workable if you are planning to cook.
I probably would have given it five stars if not for the stairs
